Prof. Badu Akosa, Samuel Inkoom named to Hearts of Oak’s revamped 9-member Board

Ghana Premier League giants, has unveiled its new board members.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, following the dissolution of the previous board in February 2024.

The new board comprises Mr. Delali Anku-Adiamah, who has been appointed as the Managing Director, and Togbe Afede XIV, who retains his role as the Executive Chairman.

Other members of the board include Akwasi Agyeman, the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills, Professor Agyemang Badu Akosa, and Mr. Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom.

Notably, Alhaji Akambi, a former board member, is not part of the current appointees, while Vincent Odotei Sowah has returned to the board. Frank Nelson and Frederick Moore, who previously held positions in the top hierarchy, have not been included in the new board.

The newly constituted board will be tasked with steering the affairs of the club for the next four years, aiming to elevate the Phobian club to greater heights after recent struggles.

Hearts lie eighth on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points after 23 matches.
