Samuel Boadu confident Dreams FC can win Caf CC

Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu wants Dreams FC to clinch the CAF Confederation Cup title, to help secure another slot for Ghanaian clubs in CAF club football competitions.

The Still Believers play their CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal against Malian counterparts, Stade Malien.

In an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, the former Hearts of Oak coach believes the Karim Zito-led outfit will go all the way to the title.

“I know Dreams FC to be a good team, especially Karim Zito who is my father in coaching,” Boadu told the Kumasi-based radio station.

“It is my hope Dreams FC wins the CAF Confederation Cup so that we can get additional slots.”

The first leg is slated to come off this weekend in Bamako, with Dreams FC set to host the return leg in Kumasi the subsequent Sunday.
