Aduana Stars left it late to beat Liberty Professionals 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday.
The 2009 Champions have been on the rise since the reappointment of Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica who oversaw the side’s first away victory in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.
Latif Blessing drew first blood for Liberty with his 8th of the campaign but youngster Zakaria Mumuni pegged back with his debut goal for the Fire club in the 16th minute.
Three more goals ensued in the second with Edward Ebo Mends restoring the lead for the hosts.
Yahaya Mohammed however cancelled the lead again with 7th goal so far after a foiled Liberty attack in which Latif Blessing conceded possession.
Aduana grew in confidence after the Yahaya leveller and went ahead just on added time as substitute Derrick Sasraku rose high to head home the third goal for the Dormaa lads.
Aduana now move to 4th position – same points, 16, as Liberty but the latter lie 5th by virtue of their less goal difference.
