After running riot against their Namibian counterparts by 8-0 Wednesday, the Ghana Under-17s continued their streak with a defeat of Germany in the ongoing four-nation tournament in Windhoek.
The Black Satellites Thursday defeated Germany 2-1 in their second match by 2-1 courtesy goals from David Cudjoe and Ibrahim Sulley while Ghana-born Gabriel Kyeremateng scored in between for the Germans.
Ghana’s next opponent in the tournament is South Africa.
The Ghana U-17s, led by Coach Paa Kwesi Fabien, are using this tournament as a preparatory tool for their upcoming 2017 African U-17 qualifier match again Liberia in June.
The unseeded Starlets will go through three rounds of qualifying matches in other to secure a place in Madagascar next year.
