Kotoko poor form: Don’t blame only me – Duncan

Coach of Asante Kotoko David Duncan has said he alone cannot be blamed for the current woes of the club.

Kotoko have only two points from their opening four games in the Ghana premier league this season.

A crisis meeting was held yesterday to deliberate on how the club’s slump can be rescued. But Duncan, whose head is already being called for by some section of the supporters, insisted he’s not supervising Kotoko’s worst start to a premier league season.

“This is not the worst start in Kotoko’s history. You can correct me if I’m wrong. Last season, it was worse than this,” Duncan said.

I’m not in this alone. There are other stake holders. I am not the only one who has to work to turn the fortunes of the club around. We all have to sit around and see where we can pick the pieces from,” Duncan added.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are 14th in the league, the club’s worst start in the league in 10 years. They host Sekondi Hasaacas on Friday afternoon.
