The Ghana national Under-17 team, Black Starlets will be facing Liberia in their opening qualifier game ahead of next year’s African Cup of Nations.
The Ghana Under-17’s will first host their Liberia counterparts on the weekend of June 24-26 before heading to Monrovia for the return fixture the following weekend.
Should Ghana successfully clear the Liberia hurdle, the team will then advance to face Burkina Faso in the second round of the qualification games.
The Burkina U-17’s have been exempted from the round just as Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia,
Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia and Zambia.
The second round has also been fixed for the weekend of August 5 -7 (first leg games) and August 19 -21 (second leg).
The final round of the qualifiers to the championship, which will be hosted by Madagascar has been set for September and October 2016.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s Under-20 team has a separate draw for the qualifiers to the Zambia 2017 Africa Under-20 Championship.
The Black Satellites begin their campaign from the second round against either Ethiopia or Somalia.
Ghana will travel to either Addis Ababa or Mogadishu for the first leg on the weekend of April 1-3 before hosting the second leg in Accra on the weekend of April 22-24.

Seven teams will emerge from the qualifiers to join the hosts for the final tournaments early next year.
The final tournament of the U-17 AFCON will be held from April 2-16 2017 in Madagascar, whilst the U-20 AFCON has been fixed for 26th February to 12th March 2017 in Zambia.
The top four teams at the continental championship qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA World Cup.
