Born February 20, 1998, Dauda joined the porcupine warriors in September 2014 from lower tier side Global Stars Sporting Club based in Accra.

He is one of few youngsters who hardly struggled to grab their chance when presented by the highly demanding record Ghanaian champions.

Handed the opportunity by then coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani prior to the start of the 2014/15 season, Dauda broke into the Kotoko first team and went to feature in the first four games of that season – against Aduana Stars, Hasaacas, B.A United and Inter Allies and capped an impressive debut topflight experience with 8 goals in 18 league appearances.

In the current season, he has scored 8 goals and has been an integral member of the Ghana Under-20 national team.

This week, Dauda Mohammed received a call-up to the Ghana senior side by former Chelsea coach Avram Grant for the weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations home qualifier against Rwanda.

He is also in line to be in the party for the Black Stars’ international friendly against Russia in Moscow.
