Ghana FA Cup champions, Nsoatreman FC have been paired with Chad powerhouse Elect Sport FC for the preliminary round of the 2024/25 Caf Confederation Cup.
The draw, conducted at Caf headquarters in Cairo on Thursday, July 11, 2024, marks Nsoatreman’s debut in continental competition following their historic first FA Cup triumph over Bofoakwa Tano FC.
The Ghanaian side will host the first leg at either the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi or the Accra Sports Stadium, both of which they’ve designated for their continental fixtures. The return leg will be played in Chad.
Scheduled for August, this preliminary round clash will determine who advances to face the victor of the matchup between Algeria’s CS Constantine and Rwanda’s Police FC in September’s second round.
