Antoine Semenyo extends AFC Bournemouth contract to 2029

AFC Bournemouth has announced the contract extension of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo.

“We are delighted to confirm Antoine Semenyo has signed a new five-year contract with AFC Bournemouth.

“The agreement is set to keep the Ghana international at Vitality Stadium until at least the summer of 2029,” a statement on the club’s website read.

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake highlighted Semenyo’s growth at the club since signing in January 2023.

“It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us.

“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognise his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”

Semenyo played 33 times in the top flight last season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

He has played 47 times for the Cherries in all competitions, having signed from Bristol City.
