Samartex focused on our games, not Nations FC – Nurudeen Amadu

Sarmatex FC head coach Nurudeen Amadu says his side is focused on maintaining their top spot in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

In a narrow win against Medeama FC on Sunday afternoon, the Timber Giants reclaimed the number one spot, leaving Nations FC two points behind.

Francis Gyetua in the 38th minute scored the winner.

For Amadu, the focus is on motivating his side to continue their pursuit for the league.

“We are under pressure, we all are under pressure to get back to the top. Even though I psych the players to play, we will bear the pressure.

“They should play, they shouldn’t think about Nations coming to the top.

Sarmatex leads the table with 45 points just above Nations in second with 43 points. Sarmatex visits Legon Cities in the match-week 25.
