We played well despite the defeat – David Ocloo

Kumasi Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo has reacted to the club suffering another defeat at home in the league.

The Reds were shocked by Nations FC who won 1-0 thanks to Afriyie Asamoah’s first half goal. As a result, this is Kotoko’s fourth loss in a row.

The forward has now bagged 10 goals in the league while the defeat is Kotoko’s ninth of the league season.

Coach Ocloo in his press conference admits it was a difficult encounter against Nations Fc but regardless the results, his side played well.

“It was a very difficult game, honestly a very difficult situation, but I think our boys came to the party today, we were well organized, disciplined.

“They played according to our system and the structure. It was unfortunate we couldn’t get that needed goal, but we played well.”

Kotoko, ninth on the league table will play Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in game-week 24.

Nations who are second on the league table with 40 points – two points behind the league leaders Samartex – will host Great Olympics at home.
