The Black Stars of Ghana managed a 2-2 draw against the Cranes of Uganda in their second friendly in the March international break.
It was head coach Otto Addo’s second game and the team failed to maintain their lead despite a satisfactory first half, coming atop with a 2-1 scoreline.
But the Cranes worked well in the second half, looking completely different from the first forty-five minutes as coach Paul Put toppled Ghana in most sections of the game.

The Stars took the lead in the 6th minute when Jerome Opoku headed home Jordan Ayew’s corner kick from the left side of attack.
Uganda levelled from the penalty spot from Steven Mukwala’s kick in the 22nd minute.
But in similar fashion,Ghana got ahead again when Dennis Odoi got fouled in the Uganda 18-yard box and Jordan restored the lead.
Leading at half time, much was expected from the Black Stars in extending their or managinf the result.
However, they struggled! The Ugandan national team looked poised enought to share the spoils and they had it in the 82nd minute to end the game with a stalemate.
Ghana hoped for a win after losing to Nigeria 2-1 last Friday while Uganda suffered a 4-0 defeat from Comoros.
Looking ahead, the teams will now focus on their respective 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars play Mali and Central African Republic in June 2024.
