Ghana coach Chris Hughton says the team understands the plights of Ghanaian football fans after their performances in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Black Stars have only a point after two games in the group stage against Cape Verde and Egypt.
On Thursday evening, the Stars drew 2-2 against the Pharaohs after leading the game on two occasions thanks to Mohammed Kudus’ brace.

Speaking to Felix Romark after the game, Chris Hughton admits the disappointment and asserts that the players feel same.
“We understand everything our supporters go through when they see performances that are not good enough. We feel it the same way.
“I’m happy today that they [the fans] saw the performance from the team and I think even though it’s not the result we wanted but I think they can be happy with the performance.”
After the draw against Egypt, Ghana only has one last chance to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2023 AFCON.
The Black Stars must win the last Group B game against Mozambique next week.
