Paris 2024Q: Nora Hauptle marks 9th consecutive win after Benin clash

Ghana maintained their fine run under coach Nora Hauptle by securing a 2-0 victory over Benin on Tuesday in the second leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifier.

Evelyn Badu broke the deadlock with a delightful finish in the 65th minute and an own goal, ten minutes later, was enough for the Black Queens.

The victory gave Ghana a 5-0 aggregate result against the Beninois and a third-round qualifier against Zambia is the next hurdle.

This is Nora Hauptle’s ninth consecutive victory since taking over as the Black Queens tactical head. It’s been 31 goals in these nine games and an impressive clean sheet from all the matches.

Tougher challenges await as Ghana could potentially face either Morocco or Tunisia in the fourth round should they continue their journey in the Olympic qualifiers.
