Semenyo scores as Bournemouth secure first league victory of the season

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo delivered a stellar performance in AFC Bournemouth’s thrilling 2-1 victory against Burnley in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The 23-year-old forward, who was part of the starting lineup, left a significant mark on the game, helping the Cherries clinch a vital turnaround win at the Vitality Stadium with a clinical finish.

The match-day 10 fixture kicked off with Burnley’s Charlie Taylor notching an early goal, hitting the back of the net just 11 minutes into the contest.

However, it was Semenyo who responded with a stunning solo effort, leveling the score for Bournemouth in the 22nd minute.

The decisive moment arrived in the 76th minute, courtesy of Philip Billing, who secured a crucial second goal for AFC Bournemouth, ultimately claiming all three points for the team.

This victory marked AFC Bournemouth’s first league win of the season, with Antoine Semenyo notching his second goal of the campaign. His consistently impressive performances are increasingly proving pivotal for the Cherries.
