For Ephson, its a good start for the team, for himself and against an experienced Aduana team.
“I’m elated that we won our first game and for scoring to help the team. Aduana are a top side, an experienced side and we needed determination and hardwork to beat them.
“Our senior players motivated we the new ones, told us how to handle the pressure and our first game at home.
“And by God’s grace, we had the win after a great game. I hope this marks a good sign in my career at the club and we will keep working.”

Ephson joined Samartex from Nzema Kotoko ahead of the season and earning a start in the first game shows the quality he brings to the Timber club.
Samartex travel to Abrankese for their next league game against Nations FC.
