Ghana’s Ernest Agyiri joins Randers FC

Ghanaian winger Ernest Agyiri has officially made his move to Danish Superliga giants Randers FC.

The skilled 25-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract with the Crown Jutlanders, extending his stay with the club until 2026.

Agyiri’s move to Randers comes after spending three successful years with Estonian side Levadia Tallinn. He joined Levadia in January 2021 following his departure from Manchester City.

Randers FC announced the signing on Wednesday: “We are pleased to announce the signing of Ghanaian winger Ernest Agyiri, who has agreed to a three-year contract with Randers FC…”

Upon joining Randers FC, Agyiri expressed his excitement and eagerness to take on this new challenge in his career.

“I am very happy to have signed with Randers FC. I can’t wait to get started and I’m really happy to be here now.

“I will do my utmost to help Randers FC to end up at the fun end of the table and win trophies with the club.

“It is a big step for me to move to Randers FC and the Danish Superliga. It’s a good opportunity for me to develop as a player as well.

“I just can’t wait to play in front of our fans and show them my skills with the ball,” the player said.

Before leaving Estonia, Agyiri showcased his prowess by netting an impressive tally of 11 league goals. He also played a crucial role as he tallied eight assists, establishing himself as one of the top contributors in the league.

Ernest Agyiri is available to make his Randers debut when they play away to reigning Superliga champions FC Copenhagen next Saturday.
