Ghana’s Nii Akwa Julian Nunoo has been chosen to referee the first leg of the 2023/24 Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round between Togo’s ASC Kara and Académie Football Amadou Diallo (AFAD) Djékanou from Côte d’Ivoire.
The notable assignment is scheduled for Stade de Kegue in Lome on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Julian will not be alone in his endeavour; he will be assisted by Paul Kodzo Atimaka and Tijani Mohammed, serving as Assistant I and Assistant II respectively.
Further contributing to the Ghanaian presence on the field, Charles Benle Bulu has been appointed as the Fourth Official, ready to intervene if needed during the game.
Yanfore Issa Yanmien from Niger will be overseeing the game in his capacity as the Match Commissioner, while Kangni Atanyigan Ekouekouvahey from Togo will be fulfilling the vital role of Medical Officer, prepared for any emergencies.
The match is set to kick off at 16H00.
