Club hoping the player's ITC can be received quickly enough to unleash him against Asante Kotoko.

Aduana FC have signed free-agent striker Richard Danso, Footy-Ghana.com can reveal.

The 22-year-old last played for KF Tirana.

On October 12, 2020, Danso joined the Albanian giants on what was supposed to be a four-year contract.

But he could not last even half the duration (1 year, 3 months, 8 days) as the deal was terminated by mutual consensus after scoring thrice in 24 appearances.

Danso’s free-agent status has been in effect since January 20, 2022.

Footy-Ghana.com has confirmed that the India 2017 Fifa U-17 World Cup starlet has successfully completed the formalities to initiate a two-year contract with Aduana FC.

Danso reunites with coach Paa Kwasi Fabin under whom he worked at the Ghana U-17s.

The player joined the Aduana team bus on their way back to Dormaa from a GPL match-day 9 victory over Great Olympics.

In fact, Danso has been training since Monday with officials of the Fire Club hoping his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) can be received quickly enough to unleash him in Sunday’s cliffhanger against Asante Kotoko.

If not, he may have to target a visit to Bibiani GoldStars for his debut.

Richard Danso is not new to the Ghana Premier League, having previously starred for current Division One side WAFA SC. He has also had a stint in Tunisia with Étoile Sportive du Sahel and USL side North Texas SC.
