Medeama SC defeated Techiman Eleven Wonders 1-0 in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 20 clash at Akoon Community Park Sunday afternoon.
Amed Touré scored the lone goal in the second half as the Mauve and Yellows managed to get their seventh victory in eleven home games.
The experienced striker perfectly met a cross from the right by captain Joseph Tetteh Zutah with a header from near post in the 65th minute.
The win sees Medeama take hold of fifth place with 32 points.
Eleven Wonders, meanwhile, drop to second from bottom of the 18-team Ghana Premier League standings with 20 points from 20 games.
Medeama SC’s Darlington Gyanfosu won the NASCO man-of-the-match award.
