Wa All Stars confirm new deal for coach Adepa

The Chief Executive Officer of League Champions Wa All Stars has confirmed contract renewal talks with head coach Enos Adepa.

Adepa guided the Wa-based club to achieve a historic feat by being the first club from the northern part of Ghana to win the league title.

Club CEO Oduro Nyarko has revealed a not less than two-year deal for the coach who became the second to win the trophy in his debut season after Didi Dramani won it with Asante Kotoko in 2013.

According to rumours, Enos is on the radar of Asante Kotoko who are still without a substantive head coach.

However, Oduro Nyarko says they are leaving no stone unturned after having an excellent working relation with him, and now theirs to loose.

“He had one-year stint with us and we are now going to sit down and talk to him but we have already started,” he told GHONe TV in and interview.

“[A contract could be signed] perhaps this week – because we have already sat with him and done the nitty-gritties and we are now going to put pen to paper. [It will be for] either two or three years.”

“He is a good coach, very affable, very intelligent and very diligent. We are not going to miss him. We will gird our loins for a tougher battle so that we are not taken by events,” Oduro Nyarko added.

The ‘Northern Blues’ won the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League with 51 points.
