‘Wa All Stars targeting Top four finish’ – Coach Adepah

Coach of league leaders Wa All Stars, Enos Kwame Adepah has revealed his side are only playing for a top four finish in the ongoing 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

The Wa-based club who boast of having the longest unbeaten run (home and away) have had a good season so far with many tipping them as favourites for the league trophy.

However Coach Adepa who wants to guard against complacency says his team is targeting a top four finish; a feat Wa All Stars as a club is yet to chalk.

“For me not to give myself and my team any burden as people say we might be under pressure, that’s why I have targeted the Top 4 because on record, Wa All Stars have not been in the Top 4 before so that’s our first target and first option”.

He has however not ruled out winning the ultimate as he says he will take his chances when other teams are under performing.

“Along the line, if the strength and the face of the game of the opponent seem to slack down, I think we will take up the position but to be honest with you, we want to target the top so being on top there, you know Hearts of Oak were there and then we also came there so it tells you that anyone can be there but what we are praying for and working towards is to be in The top 4”.

Wa All Stars will be heading to the second round of the league with 28 points and will be facing Berekum Chelsea at the Wa Park after defeating the latter 1-0 on match day 15 at the Golden City Park.
