The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has released fixtures for the 2016 President’s Cup.
The football body has decided to play this year’s cup amongst rivalry clubs within communities with the two giants of Ghana; Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak headlining the games on July 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The games will be used to mark Ghana’s Republic day and honour the sitting president, John Dramani Mahama.
At the Wa Park, WA All Stars will be playing against WA Rockets FC as Berekum Chelsea faces Berekum Arsenal at the Golden City Park.
There will be a repeat of the MTN FA Cup fixture that saw Asokwa Deportivo eliminating Ashgold in the round of 32 of the competition as both teams will again battle out it in the presidential cup.
