Accra Hearts of Oak began the second round of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory over Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts dominated play but labored to score with new signing Patrick Razak impressing most on his league debut.
Striker Cosmos Dauda however grabbed the only goal of the game and his seventh of the season just a minute after the hour mark to help Hearts jump back to second place on the league table.
The goal was not the prettiest of strikes, as Cosmos Dauda reacted quickest to stab home after ex-Hearts goalkeeper Philemon MacCarthy failed to grab a low shot from Samudeen Ibrahim.
Dreams were reduced to 10-men in the second half just after the Hearts goal. Richard Ocran was marched off for a second yellow card.
