Black Stars deputy captain Andre Ayew scored twice for Swansea City in a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the 2015/16 Barclays Premier League on Sunday.
Ayew who was deployed in an unfamiliar striking role opened the scoring at the Liberty Stadium with a header before Jack Cork doubled the scores.
Substitute Christian Benteke pulled one back but the Ghanaian international was on hand to feed onto a Seyi Ojo error to score the tenth goal in his debut season in the English top flight.
Sunday’s victory ensured Swansea maintained their BPL status.
