Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways with an emphatic 3-1 victory over visiting Liberty Professionals at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The match day 7 fixture of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League saw Liberty taking the lead as early as the 2nd minute before Ahmed Adams equalized with a headed goal.
Dauda Mohammed scored to give the porcupine warriors a 2-1 half time lead before captain Amos Frimpong put the icing on the cake with a late penalty.
The win lifts Kotoko from the bottom of the league table to 9th position.
