GPL: ‘Games against Hearts ordinary’ – All Stars coach

Wa All Stars coach Enos Kwame Adepah has shrugged off pressure ahead of his side’s crucial clash with league leaders Hearts of Oak in Accra on Sunday.

Adepah who is enjoying an impressive run so far in his debut season in the Ghanaian topflight has his side trail the Phobians by two points at second place after five games.

According to the coach, games against the “so called big clubs” like Hearts who lead the log with 13 points come bear no pressure on his young side.

“Playing against the so called big clubs is not that difficult. They are only surviving by their big name status. As to their players being able to carry that weight is the issue,” he told Kwame Yeboah of Sekondi-based Silver 92.3 FM in an interview.

He continued: “In such games, the pressure is always on them. I won’t term such matches as difficult for my team. Playing the likes of Liberty, New Edubiase, Aduana, Dreams FC come with the pressure. On paper and tactically, those matches are more difficult that in playing Kotoko and Hearts. I see this as an ordinary match.”
