The Operations Manager of Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy has predicted a massive victory for the Porcupine Warriors ahead of Sunday’s big encounter with Medeama SC.
Kotoko will welcome the MTN FA Cup winners to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a match day 3 fixture. Kotoko heads into the tie with no point after they were beaten 2-0 by WAFA on match day 1 at Sogakope.
Having lost the two games played so far, the ‘Yellow and Mauves’ are expected to come into the game as wounded lions. The Tarkwa-based side lost 1-2 to AshantiGold before suffering a painful 0-2 home defeat to Hearts Of Oak.
The flamboyant start of arch-rival Hearts Of Oak appears to be putting pressure on the playing body as well as the technical team of Kotoko to deliver on Sunday.
And Kennedy, a former player of the Reds is confident the side could unleash a goal feast on their visitors.
“We have prepared adequately for the game. In fact, we will score them not less than four goals.
“If they’ve allowed themselves to be beaten by hearts at home, that’s none of our business. I don’t normally predict matches but for this one I can tell you that we are winning massively, at most four goals,” he told Fox FM.
Kickoff is at 3:15pm.
