DOL: Okwahu United get new bus

Division one league side Okwahu United have unveiled a brand new bus ahead of the start of the new division one league season.

The former premier league side are bracing for their 11th season in division one after being relegated in 2005 following a relegation play-off loss to Gamba All Blacks on penalties.

NPP aspiring MP of the Kwahu Abetifi constituency Bryan Acheampong was handed the club by the live patron Nana Mireku Nyanpong II following Sports Limited’s inability to qualify the team to the premier league.

Sports Limited was handed the management of the Nkawkaw-based side for the 2014/2015 season but they could only guide the club to a 9th place finish in the GN Bank Division one Zone III.

Shortly after taking over, Bryan Acheampong promised to secure a bus for the team to cater for transportation challenges faced last season. He has since delivered a brand new bus to the team.

Mohammed Gargo was appointed in January to replace interim manager Ben Zola as Okwahu United fight for a topflight come back.
