Ghana midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has emerged as a transfer target for English Premier League duo Watford and Southampton.
According to reports from the English media, the in-form Atletico Madrid youngster has already had a £6.5million from Watford rebuffed by the Spanish giants.
The Dailymail has also reported that the 22-year-old has been targeted by Southampton. Manager Ronald Koeman is said to be considering Partey as replacement for Victor Wanyama who is wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Ghanaian international who is yet to feature for the Black Stars is being monitored by national team coach Avram Grant and has been widely tipped for a call-up during the international break in March.
Last weekend, Partey scored his debut La Liga goal and match winner as the Rojiblancos beat Levante by a lone goal to move to the summit of the table.
