Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has parted ways with Dutch side Roda JC Kerkrade after four months with the club.
The young Ghana forward joined the Eredivisie outfit on a season-long loan deal in August from Italian Serie A club Atalanta.
“Roda JC has terminated the contract of Richmond Boakye-Yiadom with immediate effect,” the club announced on the official website.
“The 22-year-old Ghanaian said he does not feel happy in Kerkrade and called for his contract to be abrogated.
“Boakye made nine league appearances for Roda JC and now returns to Atalanta Bergamo.”
The former Bechem United man started seven of the nine matches, failing to find the back of the net.
In September, Boakye was handed a two-game ban by the Royal Netherlands Football Association for elbowing Feyenoord defender Rick Karsdorp on his Eredivisie debut.
Before moving to the Netherlands, the Accra-born spent season 2014-15 with Atalanta where he scored three goals in 19 appearances involving eight starts.
