Hearts and Kotoko easy to play against – Aduana Stars defender

Aduana Stars defender, Wahab Adams has downplayed the potency of the defense of Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The 23-year old workaholic defender after the finals of the GHALCA G6 tournament told the media, his toughest game was when his side faced Bechem United.

That game at the Sunyani Coronation Park saw the ‘Ogya lads’ defeat the 2016 MTN FA Cup Champions by a lone goal to gain qualification to the finals.

And Adams reckons Bechem posed a far better treat than the two most illustrious sides in the Ghana premier league.

“I struggled with Bechem United, and found it to be a very tough game but this game with Hearts was very easy, it’s not like they are a bad team but for Hearts any time I meet them, I find it very easy, same with Kotoko.

“It’s not as if they are a bad side but this game for instance we should have even win it in the first half,” he said.

Aduana Stars on Sunday won the 2016 GHALCA G6 tournament after a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Accra Hearts of Oak.

Wahab Adams won the best defender and most valuable player of the tournament.
