Ghanaian football prodigy Abdul Aziz Issah has been nominated for two categories in the 2024 Caf Awards: Young Player of the Year and Caf Inter-club Player of the Year.
Issah’s performances have been pivotal for Dreams FC, where his four goals played a significant role in the club’s strong Caf Confederation Cup campaign, culminating in a semi-final appearance in their debut season.
In the Inter-club Player of the Year category, Issah will go head-to-head with former teammate John Antwi, who netted six goals.
Beyond his club success, Issah was also a standout for the Ghana U-20 side, contributing to their gold-medal finish at the African Games held in Accra. His nomination for Young Player of the Year highlights his achievements on both club and national levels.
Dreams FC has also earned a nomination for Caf Inter-club Team of the Year, further spotlighting their impressive African campaign.
Following his success in Ghana, Issah secured a loan move to Barcelona B this summer, where he will stay until the end of the 2024/25 season, aiming to further his development in European football.
