The boys need to step up against Sudan – Ghana coach Otto Addo

Ghana coach, Otto Addo, wants his players to enhance their performance ahead of the crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.

The Black Stars have recorded only two points from a possible nine after three matchdays. It’s been two draws against Niger and Sudan, while losing to Angola in Kumasi.

In a pre-match press conference, Addo commended his team for their passionate display during the first encounter with Sudan last Thursday, where they created numerous scoring opportunities but fell short.

Ahead of the Tuesday clash, the gaffer has emphasized the need to step up and secure a win in the upcoming match.

“Everything is in place—passion, effort, and chances created. The players must reward themselves for their hard work. Everyone needs to raise their game.

“We need to support one another, whether on the pitch or the bench. Believing in ourselves and pushing each other will make us win, and I’m confident the goals will come.”

The Black Stars will face Sudan in Libya, with kickoff scheduled for 13:00 GMT.
