Black Stars midfielder Majeed Ashimeru says the team will improve from their lacklustre performance in the next 2025 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) qualifiers.
Kicking off their qualification series, Ghana lost 1-0 at home to Angola and a poor second half display against Niger resulted in a 1-1 draw in their second game.
In October, the senior men’s football team play Sudan on matchday four and five, in pursuit of putting their Afcon campaign back on track.
Ashimeru, who played in the latter stages of the Angola encounter and was a starter against Niger, is positive ahead of their next games and expects an improved show.
“We know what Ghanaians demand from us as national team players. So its our duty to rewrite what happened in September against Angola and Niger.
“We will go all out in our next games and hopefully, we will qualify for the AFCON next year.”
The venue for Ghana’s home game against Sudan is yet to be announced by the Ghana Football Association.
