Richard Ofori pens message to Orlando Pirates fans ahead of Amazulu move

Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori has penned a heartwarming message to Orlando Pirates fans after signing with AmaZulu Football Club.

The experienced shot-stopper recently agreed to terms with AmaZulu, marking the end of his four-year stint with the Sea Robbers.

In a heartfelt farewell message, Ofori expressed that the timing felt right to move forward and embrace a fresh challenge.

“The past few years have been ones of grace and power. I couldn’t have been happier, more focused, or more motivated than at a place I’ve called home.

Being part of Orlando Pirates brought new challenges, joy, and energy. The time has come for me to open a new chapter in my career,” Ofori said as he announced his move to AmaZulu.

“I want to thank the entire Orlando Pirates family—the staff, technical team, medical staff, board members, management, and my teammates.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better working environment. It’s been a fantastic, action-packed four years of my journey,” Ofori concluded.

As Ofori prepares to join AmaZulu FC, he brings with him a wealth of experience, having excelled at both club and international levels.

The Black Stars goalkeeper has spent years in the Premier Soccer League and has bagged enough experience for his new endeavour.
