We need to execute our tactics right against Constantine – Nsoatreman gaffer Yaw Preko

Nsoatreman coach Yaw Preko is laser-focused ahead of their crucial CAF Confederation Cup clash against Algerian side CS Constantine.

The Ghanaian FA Cup champions are seeking a strong performance in the first leg, set to take place on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium, as they aim to secure a historic spot in the group stage in their debut campaign.

Speaking after their final training session on Thursday, Preko underscored the importance of making the home advantage count.

“Football is full of surprises. I’ve been in the game for a long time, and I know that underestimating your opponent can backfire,” he warned.

Nsoatreman enter the contest on a high, following the 2-0 victory over Young Apostles in the opening game of the new Ghana Premier League season.

Preko highlighted the need for tactical discipline and recovery as key to their success.

“All we need to do is ensure we recuperate well and execute our tactics effectively when we go back there. I strongly believe they will come at us, and we have to be ready for it,” Preko added.

Nsoatreman advanced to this stage after defeating Chad’s Elect-Sport in the first preliminary round.

The second leg will take place in Algeria next weekend, where they hope to finish the job and move closer to the group stage.
