Dreams FC’s Abdul Aziz Issah completes move to FC Barcelona

Dreams FC has confirmed the transfer of their promising young forward, Abdul Aziz Issah, to Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

The 18-year-old striker sealed the deal on transfer deadline day, marking a major leap in his career.

Issah, who was recently recognised as one of Africa’s top young talents by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s notable campaign in last season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

He emerged as the tournament’s leading scorer, with four goals and two assists over 10 matches, helping his team reach the semi-finals before being narrowly defeated by eventual champions Zamalek.

Having joined Dreams FC’s senior team in 2022 after rising through their youth systems, Still Believe and In God We Trust FC, Issah’s rapid ascent has now culminated in a move to one of football’s most iconic clubs.

Issah is set to join fellow Ghanaian, David Oduro of Accra Lions, who was recently recruited by FC Barcelona Academy.

The transfer is a significant moment for Dreams FC, underscoring the club’s growing reputation for nurturing top-tier talent.
