Afcon 2025Q: Otto Addo to name Ghana squad for Angola, Niger games Aug. 29

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will unveil his squad for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger on Thursday, August 29.

The Ghana Football Association has announced that a press conference will be held at their conference room.

Ghana will face Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5 before travelling to take on Niger on September 9.

Earlier, Communications Director of the GFA Henry Asante Twum revealed that they had received the team’s program and Otto Addo was to arrive in Ghana before the 30th Extraordinary Congress held at Prampram.

Striker Inaki Williams is expected to return to the squad after missing the last two matches and other new additions will be made to the team for the two games.

Since missing out in 2004, Ghana has qualified for every Afcon and have featured in two finals, losing to Egypt in 2010 and Cote d’Ivoire in 2015.
