Leicester City defender Wout Faes lauds Jordan Ayew impact despite Fulham defeat

Leicester City centre-back Wout Faes is pleased with Jordan Ayew’s impact in the team after their 2-1 defeat to Fulham in the 2024/25 English Premier League.

The Foxes failed to earn a win after their Monday draw against Tottenham Hotspur on match-week one.

Ayew, who joined Steve Cooper’s side on Wednesday was subbed on during the second half but his impact could not change the game’s result.

However, Faes asserts the experience of Ayew will aid the team in the upcoming games.

“Obviously, Jordan has a lot of experience and you could see when he came into the game, some of the little fouls that he won.

“It’s all about that experience that we need, especially in some big moments in games.”

Jordan Ayew arrived from Crystal Palace after five seasons at the Selhurst Park and much is expected of him in attack alongside another experienced forward in Jamie Vardy.
