Following the official announcement of his two-year deal with the Foxes, Ayew spoke to LCFC.com, sharing his excitement about the move.

“I’m very happy to be here and I’m proud. I want to thank the Club as they fought hard to bring me here – it happened quickly and I’m so happy to be here.”

The 32-year-old Ghana international highlighted the impact of manager Steve Cooper in his decision to join Leicester City, marking the second time he will work under Cooper, having previously played for him at Swansea City.

“As a player, when you hear that the manager wants you, it just makes you want to come and work under him and to try to improve. Even though I’m 32, as a player you always want to learn and improve,” Ayew said.

“I’m here to work hard and help the team achieve their targets.”

With a career spanning top leagues in Europe and over 100 caps for Ghana, Ayew brings a wealth of experience to Leicester City, where he aims to make a significant impact in the Premier League this season.
