Mohammed Kudus is aiming for European football in 2025/26 with West Ham United this season.
However, playing in the Uefa Champions League, Europa League or Conference League can be achieved by finishing in the top seven spots.
West Ham finished eighth in the league last season, playing in the Europa, where they suffered elimination in their quarterfinal game against Bayern Leverkusen.
“We couldn’t qualify for Europe last season so the goal is to qualify for Europe this season and challenge for the top six spots,” Kudus stated in an interview with CBS Sports.
“As a player, i want to use my individual skills and abilities to help the team qualify to the Europe stage for next season.”
West Ham have added more firepower upfront with the arrival of Borussia Dortmund striker Nicklas Fullkrug.
Julen Lopetegui’s side have also acquired Cyrencio Summerville from Leeds United and Guido Rodriguez of Real Betis.
