Nsoatreman FC General Manager Eric Alagidede is positive his club can perform well in their maiden Caf Confederation Cup participation this season.
The MTN FA Cup holders are shaping up for the 2024/25 season on three fronts; the Ghana Premier League, FA Cup defence, and the continental assignments as representatives of Ghana football.
Alagidede is confident they can replicate a performance closer or better to that of Dreams FC last season who finished in the Confederation Cup semi-finals.
“I don’t think the Confederation Cup is above us,” he asserted. “There would have been doubts if one had predicted Dreams FC’s group stage spot last season, but they went on to achieve it.”
Nsoatreman FC finished as runners-up in the recent Nsenkyire Cup, a pre-season tourney where Samartex 1996 emerged as the champions.
