Nations FC Head coach Kasim Mingle Ocansey is hoping to utilize the Nsenkyire Cup to prepare his side for the 2024/25 season.
The Abrankese side are shaping up for the upcoming campaign and are in pursuit of improving their seventh-place finish from the last league campaign.
Speaking to the club’s media, Kasim Mingle highlighted the impact of getting their preferred signings early before the league commences.
“It was important to sign our new guys and begin pre-season with them. That’s what we have done and we have been orienting them on our tactical plan.
“So far it has been going well and we have two-three weeks to get them imbimbed in our style.”
The experienced gaffer also highlighted the impact of the Nsenkyire Cup organized by FC Samartex as a fine opportunity to assess themselves before the start of the season.
“Pre-season is not for winning titles or games. We will use these games to fix our shortfalls and solidify our strengths before the league begins.”
