AFCON Beach Soccer Qualifier: Black Sharks secure 5-3 win over Sand Elephants

Ghana’s Black Sharks delivered a thrilling performance at Emancipation Beach in Keta, claiming a 5-3 victory over Côte d’Ivoire’s Sand Elephants in the first leg of the 2024 AFCON Beach Soccer qualifier.

The home side’s dominance was evident throughout the match, highlighting their determination to clinch a spot in the upcoming AFCON tournament.

A win in the return leg in Ivory Coast next weekend would seal their qualification.

Having finished seventh in the 2015 and 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Championships, Ghana is eager to surpass the group stage this year.
