CONFIRMED: Leicester City secure permanent signing of Fatawu Issahaku

Leicester City have announced the permanent signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, though the transfer fee remains undisclosed.

The Foxes completed the transfer after activating the buy option in Issahaku’s contract from Sporting CP, securing all necessary league and international clearances.

The 20-year-old made a significant impact during his loan spell at King Power Stadium last season, contributing to Leicester City’s Sky Bet Championship title win and subsequent promotion to the Premier League.

Issahaku has now committed to a five-year contract with the club.

Issahaku featured in 43 matches across all competitions for Leicester last season, scoring seven goals. His standout performance included a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory over Southampton at Filbert Way.
