Asante Kotoko captain Richmond Lamptey has joined Rwandan outfit APR FC on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to pocket around USD 5,000 monthly while, Asante Kotoko earns $150,000 from the transfer to the Military club.
Lamptey has been with the Porcupine Warriors for three years winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League under Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
The central midfielder provided five assists in the just-ended season missing a huge number of games due to injuries.
At APR, Lamptey is expected to aid the club’s dream of qualifying to the knockout stages of the Caf Champions League.
