Communications Director for Medeama SC, Patrick Akoto is upbeat about Medeama’s chances of winning a maiden Ghana Premier League title.
The Yellow and Mauves are chasing a first league title in the club’s history having come close twice in the recent past.
Medeama are currently third on the league log and four points behind leaders, Aduana FC.
With 5 games to end the season, Patrick Akoto isn’t giving up hopes of ending the wait for a first league trophy and believes Medeama still has a chance to win the league title.
“I am very happy with how this premier league is panning out at the moment. It’s neck and neck and this [title] race will go down to the wire.” – Akoto told Empire FM.
“It’s a four-point lead, 15 points more to tussle for. We [Medeama] are very confident that we can fight till the end.”
“However, what it means is that for us at Medeama it’s non-negotiable that we have to win our last 5 matches if we want to keep up with the title chase.” – Patrick Akoto told Takoradi-based Empire FM
