Former Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has confirmed that he has held talks with Asante Kotoko on their search for a new trainer.
The Porcupines are yet to appoint a head coach with Abdul Gazale working as the caretaker following the dismissal of Seydou Zerbo last month.

“Asante Kotoko has a management chief.
“And I can’t go to Manhyia and demand that I should be named the new head coach without the knowledge of the CEO.
“If there is any assistance I am willing to do that,” Appiah told Pure FM.
“For the past months, I have held talks with Kotoko, but I told them to hold on because I received two offers.
“But let us see what happens.”
Reports in Kumasi suggest Kwasi Appiah might be the coach for the club in the 2023/24 season.
“The former Kotoko player expects Gazale to end the current football campaign.
