2022 World Cup: Ghana make three changes for South Korea clash

Ghana coach Otto Addo has made three changes to his starting line-up for the 2022 Fifa World Cup second Group H clash with South Korea.

He has abandoned the three centre-backs approach he used in last Thursday’s 3-2 defeat to Portugal.

As a result, Alexander Djiku has lost his starting spot in favor of Jordan Ayew.

Ghana also changed at the lateral positions with Alidu Seidu and Baba Rahman making way for Tariq Lamptey and Gideon Mensah respectively.

In what looks like an adoption of the 4-4-1-1 system, Thomas Partey and Abdul Samed Salis form a two-man defensive midfield.

Mohammed Kudus would be providing the creative spark from the wings, as would Jordan.

Skipper Andre Ayew has been deployed to play just behind lead striker Iñaki Williams.

The Black Stars take on the Taegeuk Warriors at Education City Stadium. Kickoff is at 13:00 GMT.
